Business Development Symposium Powered by Elevate
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – NAVIGATING MARKET SHIFTS WITH A STRATEGIC BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT APPROACH
Without a destination, how do you pick a direction, and without direction, how do you choose a road, or plot a course to get there? Even more important, when challenges are put in our path, how will you quickly figure out the detour or detours you must take that will still allow you to reach your destination? The roadmap is the most critical part of growth. It enables the team to understand the destination and follow the same path to get there. This session guides participants through the development and implementation of your strategic business development roadmap driven by a priority-based client management system that enables you to convert more leads into wins with or without the detours.

3:10 pm – 4:00 pm BREAKING DOWN CLIENT BARRIERS THROUGH ELEVATED BRAINSTORMING
Brainstorming provides an open environment that encourages everyone to participate where all ideas are welcomed and built upon, and all participants are encouraged to contribute fully, helping them develop a rich array of creative solutions. It can also help you gain alignment from team members for the solution chosen – after all, they’re likely to be more committed to an approach if they were involved in developing it. What’s more, because brainstorming is fun, it helps team members bond, as they solve problems in a positive, rewarding environment. Using several types of brainstorming techniques, attendees will brainstorm ideas to build and enhance client relationships based on specific client types.

Your company’s culture is that special part of your brand that lives outside of logos, marketing materials, and other tangible cues. It is hard to see and yet it is constantly on display. It’s challenging to get everyone inside and outside of the firm to buy into your company culture, yet marketers are challenged by it every day in our industry. Join us as we discuss what culture means for employee engagement, how to create that buy-in, and the benefits a strong culture can have for your firm. Learn how you as a marketing professional can team with others in your firm to create cultural buy-in and positively impact the employee experience.
This session will demystify one of the most involved and expensive marketing endeavors a professional services firm can undertake (and the one that could create the most significant positive impact on your firm’s overall marketing effort) – a website redesign.
Amanda Roehl and Courtney Kearney want to change that perception and facilitate the joining of CX and CRM. These two seasoned speakers will highlight how these two powerful and important programs complement one another. They will cover practices and processes to establish at your firm to take it to the next level.

Each one of us has the power to help people around us believe in themselves more, reach in and find more confidence, communicate with more conviction, and bring more gravity to daily interactions, presentations, and meetings. Dean will take you through the seven principles to elevating people around you—what you can do to level the bar on team presence and foster courage and confidence. Empower yourself in the process of helping others, by modeling the qualities you’re fighting for in the team. Then, package the principles into a systematic approach to building brand-consistent “Presence Champions” within the firm, who embed confidence in your firm’s culture.
